Get to Know Todd

Todd Jones is a business executive and community leader, not a career politician.

Todd Jones is a husband, a dad, and community leader; not a career politician.  He has proudly served the constituents of Georgia House District 25 since January 2017.

Since moving to Forsyth County, the Jones Family has been actively involved in the community. Todd co-founded the Shiloh Point Elementary School Dad’s Club in 2009 and was awarded the co-volunteer of the year in 2010 by Forsyth County Schools for his efforts. He has served on the Board of Directors for South Forsyth High School’s Touchdown Club and successfully led the effort to bring the Nike Rating Day to Forsyth County.

Todd’s business experience has focused on triple-bottom line companies that focus on social, environmental and financial impacts.  From changing K-12 education worldwide to launching energy projects in the developing world to deploying EHS software, each company created accretive, positive return on investment.  During his time as a business executive he has worked with companies like Johnson Controls, Goldman Sachs, Goodyear, Cardinal Health, John Deere, Walgreens, Morgan Stanley and Cargill.

Todd graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration, with a specialization in Finance, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida.  He and his high school sweetheart, Tracey, have been married for 31 years and have four children: Justin (27), Bryce (24), Colton (22), and Riley (20). Tracey’s involvement has been centered around their four children where she has served on the Executive Boards of Shiloh Point Elementary School and Piney Grove Middle School PTAs and was appointed multiple times to the Forsyth County Local School Council Board. In addition, Tracey is the founder and owner of Rustic Trace and former co-founder of Pine & Pigment located in the Forsyth Collection.
