(Forsyth and Fulton Counties) Last week, Todd Jones became the first candidate in the House District 25 race to be certified pro-life by Georgia Life Alliance, the state’s official affiliate of National Right to Life.
“I believe being pro-life is about more than just supporting laws to prevent abortions. It’s about making sure women across our state have access to and are informed about positive alternatives to abortion so they can choose life for their unborn child.
When elected, I will work with GLA to support conservative, common sense reforms that promote a culture of life in Georgia. Specific steps we can take to achieve this goal include making it easier to adopt and reforming our foster care system.
I’m proud of the work our state legislature did this year to help provide women with positive alternatives to abortion. Senate Bill 308, a bill that creates a grant program to provide funds for non-profit pregnancy resource centers that provide positive alternatives to abortion, was passed and sent to the governor’s desk.
I’m happy to receive Georgia Life Alliance’s pro-life certification, and I look forward to working with members of the State House in their efforts to promote life in our state.”
